• Experience running both a kitchen (BOH) and a front-of-house coffee bar

Silver Fox Coffee™ Lounge is looking for a Shop Manager to run day-to-day operations at our Music Row location. This is a full-time, hands-on leadership role — you'll be working shifts alongside your team, front of house and back of house, not just managing from the office.
You'll be the steady hand that keeps the shop running smoothly, even on the busiest, most chaotic days — when the line is out the door, someone calls out, and the espresso machine has other plans. Staying organized and clear-headed through it all is a big part of the job.
Just as important: you'll be someone your team trusts. We're looking for a leader who holds the team to a high standard while genuinely investing in the people meeting it — building real relationships, not just giving direction.
• Daily operations across both the front-of-house coffee bar and the back-of-house kitchen
• P&L management — labor, cost of goods, waste, and margin, not just sales
• Staffing and scheduling — hiring, training, coaching, reviews, and building a schedule that covers the shop's peaks
• Inventory and vendor management — ordering, receiving, stock levels, and vendor relationships for coffee and food
• Quality control — making sure every drink and every plate meets our standard, every time
• Cash handling and deposits, POS management, and basic reporting
• Shop appearance and upkeep — we've put real care into how our shops look and feel, and keeping that up is part of the role
• Customer experience — setting the tone for a team that makes every guest feel genuinely welcome
• Working shifts alongside your team, both FOH and BOH
Everything we do is measured against these. As Shop Manager, you'll help the whole team live them out, every shift.

• 5+ years of experience in coffee; 3+ years managing a high-volume coffee shop
• Experience managing a P&L, and the ability to speak to it specifically
• Experience running both a kitchen (BOH) and a front-of-house coffee bar
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills, especially on the busy days
• A leadership style that balances accountability with real relationship-building
• Comfort with POS systems, inventory/ordering platforms, and basic scheduling and reporting
• Food handler / ServSafe certification (or willingness to get one)
• Experience hiring, training, and developing team members
• Ownership of payroll — processing hours, managing labor cost, and keeping payroll accurate and on time
• Comfort handling cash, deposits, and day-to-day financial accountability
• Availability for early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• A calm, solutions-first approach when conflicts come up
• A genuine love of hospitality — this is a people business first
